NFL commentator Tony Romo drew criticism on Sunday for his charitable take on Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen during a Super Wild Card Weekend win over the Miami Dolphins.

Romo, 42, called the Bills quarterback "Mr. January" and compared him to Michael Jordan, attracting negative opinions towards Josh, who had three fumbles and two interceptions in his team's victory.

The "Mr. January" nickname is terrible considering that Allen has never led his side to the Super Bowl.

Allen, 26, is just 4-3 in seven career postseason starts, including Sunday's win.

NFL Twitter roasted Romo for his take, while Allen caught some "strays" that he does not deserve.

Josh Allen corrects his mistakes

Allen has had a horrible season when it comes to turnovers, including 14 interceptions.

He also fumbled the ball in the red zone nearly a handful of times, but he always seems to correct his mistakes.

Like Sunday's game, many of his turnovers did not lead to a loss, finishing the regular season with a 14-3 record, enough for the No. 2 seed.

Despite being an excellent QB, Allen is still miles away from being considered "Mr. January" and even further from Jordan.
